Al Barari, which will be the first eco-friendly sustainable mixed-use development of its kind in the Middle East, will be in Dubai land -- Extending over 14.6 million square feet, Al Barari will be an oasis. It will feature 16 lush green segments, boasting most types of flora from all over the world, company officials said. One of the attractions - Al Aman - will be a six-star, 120-suite, deluxe boutique hotel hidden in the midst of green gardens and azure lakes.

Legends theme park which some thought was never gona go through, is through alright. The Kuwait Finance & Investment Company (KFIC ) has subscribed to 20 per cent of the $302 million private placement for the development of the first phase of the $3.8 billion Legends theme park project in Dubai land. Over 80 per cent of the private placement has been picked up by institutional and individual investors.

I like the fact that Dubai is competing with itself, provides better quality and in this case or many cases, a larger final product.
