Default Mall Of Arabia - 26-02-2007, 05:48 AM

Mall of Arabia More than just a mall, its a unique lifestyle experience with its vast ancient Middle Eastern exterior housing the best of international fashion brands, a state-of-the-art stage for theatrical performances, a 15-screen cinema and a bowling alley.

A global shopping resort, the Mall of Arabia provides a delightfully different shopping experience. Its striking facade beckons and then entices the visitor to its central area to begin a global consumer tour.

A simple circular navigation system, striking design features and a superb range of leisure and entertainment facilities will put the mall on the list of must-see Dubai attractions.

A joint venture of Arabian Technical Construction (Arable), Arabian Construction Company (ACC) and Belhasa-Six Construct (Be six) is tipped to pick up the US $816 million (AED3 billion) main construction contract for the Mall of Arabia, which is part of the City of Arabia project in Dubai land.

A project insider confirmed that the joint venture is set to pick up the package.

“They are in the last stages of contract negotiations at the moment, and we are expecting the contract to be awarded within the next month,” he said.

A joint venture of Al Hatboro Engineering Enterprises and contractor Murray & Roberts has also bid for the project.

Don't you think that it is only right that the City of Arabia will be considered one really, really large shopping complex. Furthermore, "The City" [the similar project development fronting the City of Arabia] should be included as part of CoA's complex so that the entire area [forming a circle--as opposed to an arc] is considered as the world's largest shopping complex.
