The Emirates road is most certainly there that is for sure. You should be aware that major construction in and around the area of the investments park is commonplace and the area you talk about is wide and expansive. The main thoroughfare through Dubai leading from what is old to new Dubai is the Sheikh Zayed road and if we use this to orientate ourselves we cannot go far wrong. From the Beech the main roads are Beech road, Jumeirah Road, Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Khail Road and then Emirates road.

Emirates road to Sheik Zayaed road is approximately 4 KM, so when looking for emirates road you should really look toward the desert this road being the farthest road away from the beech. Now that should be as clear as mud.

Also please have to mind that the Local government are not to keen on maps as I am sure they think they are giving away local secrets. I assume you are looking for these areas for a home of ome sort. Arabian Ranches tends to be the major housing scheme near emirates road, and Emirates hill the major housing complex near Al Khail road. Most ex pats live in the Emirates hills areas due to ease of access to areas such as the Jebel Ali free zone and Dubai internet and media cities, these are the main commercial areas for work in Dubai if you are thinking of earning a relatively decent salary.

This has been a general view however if you let me know what your reasons for moving to wonderful Dubai may be I will be more than happy to offer and additional advice.

The ME forum is an invaluable place to visit for advice on all areas to do with Dubai and UAE so I would suggest it a good idea to stay in touch as we are really here to help.

Good luck

Thanks very much.

Just to see if you could help me to get a map somewhere which clearly depicts the various Key Housing Communities and Important Landmarks along both Emirates Road and Sheikh Road.

A special request to see if you can pull out a surprise for me.

Kind Regards
