Have you tried contacting the agent and enquiring? Ultimately, the responsibility of the contracts and timing relies on the building owner. Nakheel have passed on the buck to the building owner and they are responsible for timely payments and contract execution.

However, I do know that completion on a lot of the IC buildings has been delayed and they are only now being completed and purchasers are receiving contracts.

All I can suggest is contacting the agent to get an update. Failing that, get in touch with the building owner (should be mentioned on your contracts / reservation form) and asking them.

I have an apartment in S17. The delays are very annoying but I expected them when I purchased it so not getting overly stressed about it.
I have recently been to international city and have seen all the Spain blocks from the outside. They are all complete but the latest delay is due to the electricity not being connected (this delay is due to Dewa). I have to say that I though the Spanish cluster looks fabulous and if they are currently there is a large demand for people to rent them.

i have 1 bedroom flat in s2 building , so far i didn't receive the keys, it seems that a developer is having problems with nakheel, the other spain building were honded over

S2 is nearly full now.
