Default Prospect of Wind Towers - 30-03-2007, 09:44 AM

I’m interested to know the prospect of construction of Wind Tower (1+2) in Jumeirah Lake Towers. What is status of construction? I’m closely following this particular project and appreciate if you share any information.

1. Come on, put this as UNDER CONSTRUCTION, as it obviously is. I don't give a crap what people think of Wind or if they're right or not.

All those who think that construction has been halted in Wind Tower II, should know that it is not true, each and every work done in the site is considered part of construction. In Wind Tower II structural work is in progress, and the steel bar for the purpose of pilling is being made. As I have mentioned before pilling has many processes to go through including the tests. The foundation process uses a lot more concrete than the rest of the construction work, and again it takes much more time. I will keep you updated about the construction at the site.

But what about actual drilling??
Steel bar bending is great but there has to be a hole for the steel to go into?

My point is, I was in Dubai in November and the site was ready to start piling.
I returned home and waited, then on December 24th I received an email to say it has start. However since then only steel bar bending and a couple of test piles have been drilled.
If there is a delay because of JAFZA or whatever then fine. JUST INFORM US!!!
