I am a new investor in Dubai property market - probably a bit late. They now have got the RERA cert and once the escrow accounts are opened is as safe as it gets. Does anyone know how many flats in the Hanover sq have been sold. Is this likely to be a good and sound investments based on the predicted return.

yes i have been told if my payment is delayed i have to pay the penalty.but he did said thtv if i want i can wait for escrow account to be open then i can pay with the penalty or i can pay in non escrow account to avoid penalty.

you are correct and we should not get intimidated by any false tactics and keep up the pressure so that they follow the law of land and set up the escrow account asap and transfer all money already collected into those escrow accounts. A friend of mine also gave me similar feedback about S Ismael but personally somebody called Nadeem from ACW/Skycom gave me similar threat about penalty. Talking to Mr. Atif Rehman lately (i called as a new investor) he claimed all existing customers are already paying into escrow accounts. He himself told me after the dec 31st deadline they are only receiving the money in the escrow accounts which is obviously a lie. Mr. Adam from their team also made similar claims. We are storing their e-mails and will record their conversations on phone as we may need them as evidences of their less than professinal behaviour and giving false information deliberately as a company and as individuals.

Hello everyone, I live in Perth, Australia and have recently joined this for more information on Dubai in general and HANOVER SQUARE developers ACW Holdings, in particular. Please assist me as regards pricing for studio in Hanover Square as I have not yet received a response to my query on it from ACW Holdings. I had a response on the project three months ago by a company called BEST INVESTMENT.UK.COM with pricing and floor plans( in August '07.) I couldn't act on it as my banker was late in approving my finances, among other things. Now everything is sorted out and I am very keen to go ahead to buy in HS. Last week I contacted another company in London and received pricing and floor plans from them. The actual apartment numbers of available units DO NOT correspond at all with what I had from BEST INVESTMENT.COM in Aug '07 and I have queried this with the other company and yet to receive a reply. Let alone the numbers but even the area of the studios is totally different as compared to what I first received from BEST INVESTMENT... Can anybody please advise here as to whether HANOVER SQUARE is sustainable investment or not? Any news yet on the establishment of the Escrow Account by ACW Holdings? Thanks in anticipation, all readers, let us all be unified investors

Mr. Latif, This info is available on their site fortunately ACW Holdings - Hanover Square I can not comment on any differences that you may find with other sources but the info on there website should be accurate. I was quiet optimistic about the sustainability but the professionalism (or may be the lack of it) they have shown is costing fortune to its investors.

I am an investor in Hanover Square and I cant see what the problems are. The escrow/rera legislation has only been a recent thing, which means delays in the administration are inevitable, but they are rera certified (see their website) and I do have details of the new escrow account details for future payments. The only thing doing damage is posts from the likes of desperado which other people take seriously. If anyone has any questions, either phone them or go to one of their exhibitions coming up and ignore the likes of desperado who are hell bent on scare-mongering

I am currently going through a purchase of an apartment in Hannover Square, my first time to be purchasing abroad so i too like many of you are sceptical on with whom i invest. ACW and Sky com have been very efficient with my requests and have recently sent out letters to myself advising me of Escrow account details for all future payments. Investing anywhere is a risk, to accumulate one needs to speculate so do your research follow your gut and cross your fingers - hopefully all will work out. ![]()

Can we please have the ACW team respond to these allegations. Also, as stated by ukinvester how safe are we as investors putting money into escrow and how do we check if the account is indeed genuine? Surely we can't be the only investors going through these uncertainties, does anyone have any useful links about escrow/rera that can put our minds at rest. --mainhead
