| Dubai's High Rise Real Estate has revealed plans to build a $1.6bn Rotating City on an island off of Abu Dhabi, reported Emirates Today. The development would cover 10m sqft and include a row of 20 rotating buildings and 300 revolving villas, as well as two hotels. Each apartment would occupy an entire floor and be able to rotate 360 degrees; the revolving villas would be built on floating decks. im glad someone finally got this project |

| Forget ugly...how wasteful is this? in a day and age where we talk about conserving energy and increased fuel efficiency and alternative energy sources....why would you want to waste so much energy rotating such massive structures? Sheesh.Does anyone really need this or is this being built just for the sake of it? |
