UAE Property Investment Forum

The Cove US$ 60.5 million beach resort called The Cover is the second freehold development project in Ras Al Khaimah. It will cover 50 acres and contain 134 Nubian style furnished chalets and a five-star beach hotel. The hill and island chalets will have access to their own private beach and have their own terraces. With a guaranteed return of 7% per annum, The Cove appeals to holiday makers and investors alike. But what has the resale market been like? Are you an investor who has seen a return on this? Do you have any advice for other investors? Share your views and opinions with others here.

Default Completion Date - 06-08-2008, 07:53 AM

Hi,

Has anyone had a confirmed completion date? I have had 5 dates with the last one being this week and it looks no closer to finishing and the onsite contcats at the Cove as proving very difficult to get hold of!

Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris
I visited the Cove In August for "handover".Still a building site and not ready for occupation.
Any other purchasers had demands for extra area charges because they built villas larger than planned?.
What about the electricity and water connection charges the developers are demanding!!!
Any one understand the need to form company in the free zone in order to obtain freehold title
regards
bill
